ANNOUNCES ITS NEW SEASON

SILICON VALLEY, CA -- After an 18 month shutdown, at an "At Home" Season Announcement party on July 14 , with their vaccinated patrons participating in person, the Tabard Theatre, announced to the press a new season in which live music will play a very important role.

The program will start on Friday, July 16 with PIANO BAR CABARET, a show with Live Music & Cocktails, in which the members of the audience will have a chance to sing along.

The show will include favorite show tunes for the audience to sing or just enjoys the show which will be presented on Tabard's beautiful cabaret stage.

Speakeasy Mondays! DIVA LOUNGE will also be back at the Tabard Stage on July l9th with Rick Ferguson on piano and featuring the vocal styling's of Le Perez who this time will be joined by guest singers April Henderson, Leticia Burton, and Alasha Camille performing a variety of genres, from jazz standards to pop tunes, to Torah songs and swingers. The band includes Marty Honda on Bass and Chris Cortez on drums. The doors will open at 7PM and the show will starts at 7:30 Tickets for the performance are $10-20. Vaccination required.

For Jazz lovers, Tabard's favorite Nineteen Jazz Orchestra will be playing at Tabard on Saturday July 24 at 8 PM  & on Sunday July 25 at 3pm. Led by Gus Kambeitz, San Jose's only professional big band, Nineteen, featuring Juanita Harris, have performed with numerous legendary Jazz artists including Dave Liebman, Dave Wecki, Steve Smith, Carl Saunders, Brian Bromberg and many others.

Other July concert will include the duo set of  Ren Geisick , on the night of Friday, July 30 at 8PM. Ren is a jazz singer turner singer/songwriter whose sound  has elements of Jazz, country, soul and blues melted together to make her voice a unique brand of Americana. Joining Ren on vocals and guitar will be Joun Dryden, her pianist. 
And on the night of Sa tu day July 31 at 8PM there will be a DSL JAZZ COLLECTIVE.

DSL Jazz Collective is the name of a group of  three musicians: Shay Salhov (Saxophone) Dahveed Behrooz (piano) and Jason Lewis (drums). The particular trio shares a unique connection that often explores more adventurous and imaginative musician avenues. The group will bring to Tabard audiences a night of Jazz standards and original music. This concert will close the July's concerts.

On the nights of Friday August 6 and and Sunday August 8 Tabard Theatre will present Open a New Window. A Slightly unconventional Cabaret with two in-person and livest ream performances on Friday, August 6, at 8PM and Sunday, August 8, at 3PM. Directed by Dough Baird, with musical direction by Samuel Cisneros, Tabard Theatre will present a delightful intimate evening of Broadway and pop music performances featuring South Bay are musical theatre favorites, James Creer, Glenna Murillo and Karen DehHart as they throw the norms or traditional theatre casting out, and perform songs to "open a new window" that each one of the performers hold dear to their hearts and had not yet the opportunity to share in Open a New Window.

In-person ticket sales are limited to vaccinated patron only. The State of California defines full vaccination as two weeks past your final vaccination shot. Vaccine card will be checked at the door.
