NEW YORK CITY -- From New York City,  the readership of  Cultural World Bilingual in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area received an invitation from the MUSEO del  BARRIO  to explore their work, their online bilingual initiative EL MUSEO en tu CASA (The Museum in your home)  which will allow us, through our website, to visit the museum online, and learn about the Latino Art and Culture.

The project EL MUSEO en tu CASA,  will allow the museum to become a Virtual Reality Museum and bring visitors, from around the world to 'visit' the museum which is located in 1230 5the Avenue New York, New York l0029. Their VIRTUAL PROGRAM, will  also allow our readership to  enjoy their free programs, and through them, learn about the Latino Culture and spend a few minutes of enjoyment  at a time when many of us are confined in our homes.

Their FIRST VIRTUAL PROGRAM will be: SÁBADO FAMILIAR (A Saturday for the whole family). The program will be shown on Saturday,  MAY 23 from 11AM to 12PM EST which will be 8AM to 9 AM PST our time because of the three hours difference.

On this Saturday, he Museum will feature MILTERI and the BOMBAZO DANCE Co.. The Afro-Puerto Rican BONBAZO, combines  Afro-Caribbean Traditional folkloric elements. The Program will come LIVE to our audience via El Museo's Facebook Page. The Event is FREE and open to all Ages.

The project was created as a way to reach communities throughout the five boroughs and beyond from the comfort of their homes, and offer them a sense of cultural pride.  With that said the museum is starting a family series  SABADO FAMILIAR: featuring MILTERY and the BOMBAZO DANCE Co., where the audience will learn to appreciate a combination of Afro-Puerto Rican and Afro Caribbean tradition folkloric elements come to life in the LIVE program.
