SAN FRANCISCO, CA-- Let's start planning our picnic menu, because OPERA IN THE PARK is coming back, this time directed by San Francisco Opera Director Eun Sun Kim who will lead the San Francisco Opera Orchestra in a delightful afternoon of arias, duets and more performed by the Opera stars from the fall season. And to entice the audience to come to the Robin Williams Meadow at San Francisco's Golden Gate Park on that date, the San Francisco Opera in the Park Concert, for years a Bay Area tradition, is FREE.

WHAT IS "OPERA IN THE PARK"?
"Opera in the Park" is a FREE OUTDOOR CONCERT dedicated to celebrating our community and artistry given to all, by the San Francisco Opera. And because it is a concert, it is a mix of operatic favorites, pop classics, and songs from the upcoming opera's productions.

For those attending the concerts, is also a perfect opportunity to listen to classical music interpreted by the San Francisco Opera's orchestra, operatic voices, and get a sneak peek at the performers who are going to be headlining the Opera's new shows.
