SILICON VALLEY, CA-- CINEJOY featuring the artists & Films of CINEQUEST. will present a groundbreaking virtual experience including: 13 Live Spotlight Events. 75 Screening Parties, and 199 Showcase and Television Films (111 of which will be World & U.S. Premieres from 55 countries. ) CINEQUEST VIRTUAL, entitled CINEJOY can be seen globally from March 20 to March 30, 2021.

The Spotlight events are as follows:

SATURDAY, MARCH 27
THAEN and Conversations with the FILM ARTISTS.

This film is Glorious love story that takes place in the mountains of India, where two people fall in love and get married although the forces seem to be against them. Will they endure?

SATURDAY MARCH 27th
DRUNK BUS and Conversations with FILM ARTISTS                                                             
A hilarious new comedy about a man named Michael who after his life was derailed by his girlfriend moving away, finds himself caught in the endless loop of driving the "drunken bus," the late-night shuttle that ferries drunken college students from parties to dorms. When challenged by a 300-lb Samoan security guard He has to decide to either take a risk of drive in circler forever.

THIS IS NOT A WAR STORY and conversation with ROSARIO DAWSON & FILM ARTISTS.
Join executive producer Rosario Dawson, Director/lead actor Talia Lugacy, Producer/actor Sam Adeaoke, actor/veteran Eli Wriaht for an absolutely absorbing conversation of This is Not a War Story, a tale following a ragtag group of combat veterans in New York whose anti-war art keeps them together, despite the fact that healing from war is sometimes an impossible mission.

A superb blend of comedy, drama and romance and a big treat for cinema fans, starring Ed Helm (The hangover) and brilliant newcomer Patti Harrison This film is the bold tale of a single man searching to be a father and the surrogate who barrels into his life with surprising results. The film will be followed by a conversation with writer/director Nikole Beckwith.

'Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival, this film is one of the shortlisted Oscar contenders at Cinequest for our Closing Night film. The film is the inspirational depiction of a thousand 17-year-old boys from Texas who join together to build a representative government from the ground up. Following the film will be a conversation with the Bay Area Directors of the film, Amanda McBaine and Jesse Moss.

An Evening with Academy Award®nominated ANDRA DAY & LEE DANIELS
Enjoy and inspiring conversation with Day and Daniels as they discuss their work together to make The United States Vs Billie Holiday. The Legendary Holiday was one of the greatest jazz musicians of all the time, and her tortured life is brilliantly brought to the screen by Day and Deniels. The United States vs. Billie Holiday will screen following their conversation.
